The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity to become the trusted right hand to the Chief Financial Officer of a high-profile global media organisation. Initially starting as a 12 month contract there is the opportunity to go perm for the right candidate.
The CFO is exceptionally bright, commercially astute and meticulous. He moves quickly, expects excellence and values an Executive Assistant who is confident enough to challenge him, keep him on track and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Day to Day
Supporting the CFO, you will take ownership of every aspect of his day, ensuring he is prepared, organised and focused on what matters most.
- Extensive diary, inbox and meeting management
- Coordinating domestic and international travel
- Preparing detailed board packs, presentations and executive reports
- Managing Board, Audit & Risk Committee and Executive Leadership meetings
- Coordinating agendas, minutes and follow-up actions
- Liaising with Board members, investors, auditors and senior executives
- Preparing confidential correspondence and financial documentation
- Managing expenses, invoices and approvals
- Acting as gatekeeper while building strong internal and external relationships
- Keeping the CFO focused, prioritised and accountable
- General executive support and project coordination
You’ll Need
You'll be an experienced Executive Assistant who understands the pace, governance and expectations of supporting a CFO within an ASX-listed environment.
Most importantly, you're someone who can combine warmth with confidence. You're comfortable pushing back when required, know how to keep a busy executive on schedule and aren't intimidated by strong personalities.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience supporting a CFO or senior C-suite executive
- Previous experience within an ASX-listed organisation (essential)
- Strong exposure to Board and Committee reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- The confidence to influence and challenge appropriately
- Excellent judgement and discretion
- The ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
Salary: to $130,000k base plus
